My wifi connection is fine and it works with everything else in the house with the exception of the intermittent connection with the MyInfinity server. Feb 17, 2013 · Ok you have a wiring issue between the unit and the thermostat. The RED wire is the 24 volt wire so that would be the one that is likely grounded somewhere. You could go to the store and get a new thermostat cable. Take a short whip and connect the new cable to the unit and the thermostat and see. If it works then your cable in the wall is bad ... I've been looking to "upgrade" to the SYSTXCCITC01 thermostats to give remote access and smart home controls, but I am trying to determine what the difference between the A and B revisions are. The company that installed my Infinity system is quoting me to install the new thermostat, but list the A revision as the model.All but one device: Carrier Infinity Touch Thermostat (Model SYSTXCCITC01-A). This is an older smart thermostat that's been installed at my home for just over four years. I had no problems connecting the thermostat wirelessly to my old Orbi RBK50 system over the past year, but it would not connect to the RBK852.I'm making a wild guess and the B variant of SYSTXCCITC01 line has different firmware than the A variant. So I decided to go find an A and I will have one a week. Assuming Infinitude starts coughing useful valid data by just swapping thermostats would be useful information.
